"with the construction outside it was difficult for your staff in regard to access to front door.
When I arrived there was no ice bucket in my room ,however this small item was looked after very quickly by staff, accompanied by a personal note which was a nice touch
thankx George"

"I had to wait for my room for over 2 hours. We were told twice that it would only be a few more minutes. I was very dissapointed. When we finally got in the room, they sent us a bottle of wine and two pieces of cake to apologize for the wait. The cake was delivered with out forks. No problem, for the staff member said she would return with two forks. Needless to say she did not return with the forks and this added to the poor service. Also of note was the fact that I could not contact the front desk from my room. The phone was not working."

"It looked like it was going to rain. The concierge would not let me go out without an umbrella, so he got me one to use. He certainly went the extra mile by showing he cared."
